Journal of Priddy Meeks

Early Mormon Priddy Meeks was a Lobelia Doctor and his reminiscences are filled with fascinating medical opinions and experiences as well as much of early Utah pioneer life. You can now find a copy at boap.org: The Journal of Priddy Meeks. Enjoy.
Nice work Bill! Your transcription?
No, it was a contributed copy of an old issue of Utah Historical Quarterly.
I think I am most familiar with his comments about seer stones. I’ll need to reread in light of medical practice.
J.,
I’m curious what your thoughts on Jared’s article are: http://www.juvenileinstructor.org/how-to-make-a-seer-stone/ (Bill’s blog is obviously not the best place to respond I admit).
Just checked his post again. Didn’t see all your comments until now. Scratch what I wrote above.
Thanks for posting this, I haven’t read it in many years. Priddy Meeks is one of my ancestors, and I came across this journal as a college student. I need to read it again from my different perspective.
