ADE Salt Lake Conference -Travel Grant Notice
March 31, 2011 Leave a comment
Any of you who have submitted abstracts probably know this, but here it is anyway.
A limited number of grants will be available to help presenters travel to the ADE’s 33rd annual meeting in Salt Lake City in October. Presentation abstracts of 500 words are due to Carol DeBoer-Langworthy, ADE President-Elect, by 1 April: CDBL (at) Brown dot edu
Members of the Program Committee will dispense small awards to selected persons whose abstracts have been accepted for the program, based on a formula of
1) distance from convention site or difficulty of travel,
2) professional status (with preference given to members whose presentation is not subsidized by an institution or project), and
3) rank (with preference for those of lesser, rather than greater, status in the profession). Independent scholars, junior scholars, or retired scholars on limited incomes are encouraged to apply, as well as anyone for whom travel to the conference to make a presentation is a burden.
Presentation abstracts of 500 words are due to Carol DeBoer-Langworthy, ADE President-Elect, by 1 April:
